‘Are You Safe At Home?’ campaign
Design outcomes: poster design, flowchart design, illustrations
Client: Safe and Equal
‘Are You Safe at Home?’ is a campaign designed by Safe and Equal to raise awareness of abuse and violence in relationships and families. Its focus is to help people recognise the signs of abuse and learn about the steps that can be taken if someone they know doesn’t feel safe at home.
The campaign encourages people to start a conversation with someone in their life and ask if they’re safe at home. As this can sometimes feel difficult to do, a conversation flowchart was developed as a resource to help them navigate this process. Posters were displayed in libraries and council venues in the lead-up to ‘Are You Safe at Home?’ Day 2024. Illustrations featuring friends in conversational settings were developed for use across the campaign materials.
