Nature signage

Design outcomes: information signage design, illustration

Client: City of Greater Geelong

The City of Greater Geelong used this signage to make the local community aware of how to protect its wildlife during particular times of the year.

The ‘chicks on the beach, dogs on a leash’ sign serves to inform beachgoers of when it’s breeding season for hooded plovers and to advise them about keeping their dogs on a leash in order to protect the vulnerable chicks. The ‘watch for bats’ safety sign was designed for installation during summer at the Geelong Botanic Gardens and Eastern Park, where a large number of bats congregate.
